On 24th August, Shenzhen KSTAR Science and Technology Co., Ltd. announced the formation of a wholly owned sub-subsidiary, Kstar (Vietnam) Co., Ltd, in Anyang County, Haiphong City, Vietnam through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kstar (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 5 million US dollars.

Kstar (Vietnam) Co., Ltd will focus on the R&D, production, sales and technical consultation of UPS, precision air conditioning, integrated data center, solar inverters and etc.

The total investment budget for setting up a sub-Subsidiary and construction of the plant including related supporting facilities, layout of production lines, purchase of fixed assets, etc. is approximately 19.8 million US dollars（Including registered capital）. The actual investment amount is subject to the amount approved by the Chinese and local authorities. The company will occupy and operate a 47,715.34 square meters land. The land lease period will expire on December 25, 2058. The sub-Subsidiary will sign a formal “Land Lease Contract” with the land leasers to promote the construction of the plant later.

“With further business expansion planned, the establishment of the Vietnamese subsidiary is conducive to improving the efficiency of the Group's business development, resulting in good economic and social benefits,” the board of directors said.
